Mazzini Lodge No. 824

Our History

Founded in 1898, Mazzini Lodge No. 824 is one of New York City's most enduring
Italian Masonic brotherhoods. Named in honor of Giuseppe Mazzini — the great Italian
patriot, philosopher, and Freemason whose teachings of unity, liberty, and human dignity
continue to inspire our work — the Lodge has upheld the traditions of Freemasonry
in the Italian language for over 125 years.

Born from the vibrant Italian-American community of New York City, Mazzini Lodge
has called the great metropolis home since its founding, carrying forward a proud
tradition of fraternal brotherhood rooted in Italian heritage and Masonic values.

In 2023, the Lodge proudly celebrated its 125th Anniversary — a testament to the
dedication and perseverance of the brothers who have carried the torch of our
fraternity across generations.
